Riya is the caffeine-fueled engine behind Hawcx, working alongside her brilliant co-founders to make passwords a thing of the past. With a career spanning leadership roles at Google, Adobe, and New Relic, she’s spent years tackling complex technical challenges and saw firsthand the high costs and frustrations of traditional authentication. That’s why she and her co-founders built Hawcx: to make secure, passwordless login ridiculously simple for enterprises and developers, and magical for users.
As CEO, Riya brings the perfect mix of deep technical expertise, sharp business strategy, and unstoppable energy. Catch her after hours, she is either cheering at dance and music recitals for her two daughters, both budding performers, or fumbling through vocal lessons (her latest creative pursuit), or hunting down the city's best restaurants and coffee spots. Riya believes her family is her superpower, her community grounds her, and serious amounts of coffee keep the whole operation running.

Ravi
Co-founder & Chief Scientist
Ravi has strong passions: online security, cricket, and exploring more of the world than his luggage can handle. With over twenty years in the semiconductor industry, he knows how to make things smaller, faster, and more efficient—except for his travel itinerary, which is always overflowing. While most people unwind with a novel or Netflix, Ravi prefers the soothing lullabies of number theory, logic, and complex equations before bed. He claims it helps him sleep, but it might be training his brain to calculate cricket averages in his dreams. Ravi holds over 120 patents issued by the USPTO.
Selva
Co-founder & CTO
Selva brings over two decades of tech wizardry to the table as our CTO, but his story of building things began when he was 18 with his first college startup harvesting silver from photographic chemical waste.
As a 3x founder who thrives in early-stage startups, Selva's journey spans from systems architecture to pioneering work in applied cryptography and authentication protocols.
When not architecting Hawcx's technical vision or coding into the early hours, you might find Selva sharing "aha moments" with Riya and Ravi, performing live on his drums, growing vegetables on his farm, volunteering his time to teach meditation and breathwork or constructing a house from the ground up - a skill he self taught for the pure joy of building.
A former multi-sport athlete and meditation practitioner of 20+ years, Selva brings the same discipline, focus, and resilience to build Hawcx’s technology strategy.
