When we started Hawcx, we knew the journey to eliminate passwords and redefine identity security wouldn’t be easy. However, we had a strong conviction in our mission. Today is a huge step forward yet just the first of many on this journey.

We have raised $3 million in pre-seed funding, led by Engineering Capital with participation from Boldcap and other notable tech executives. This funding is more than just capital.  It’s validation of our vision to eliminate passwords and make secure, seamless authentication accessible to every internet user.

When we founded Hawcx in 2023, we knew there had to be a better way to do authentication. Passwords have been a security nightmare for decades, responsible for over 86% of data breaches worldwide and they are just as frustrating for users as they are for the companies managing them. We’ve all been there: forgotten passwords, annoying resets, and security questions that make you doubt your own life choices. It’s a broken system, and we knew we had to fix it.

So we built Hawcx: a passwordless authentication engine that combines best-in-class security with an experience so simple, it feels like magic. With just five lines of code, developers can integrate our solution and transform the login experience for their users. No more passwords, no more friction, just seamless, secure access.

This funding will help us accelerate product development, grow our incredible team, and scale our sales and marketing efforts.
